Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
This policy explains what information TechShinobi collects, why we collect it, and the control you have over it. Your inventory and client records belong to your account and are not published or shared with other users.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use TechShinobi, we may hold:
- Name and email address used to sign in
- Phone number, if you add one

We do not sell your personal information.
Data Storage
Data is stored in managed cloud database and file storage services on our behalf. Each account's records are separated at the database level so one account cannot read another account's inventory, clients, invoices, expenses or settings.
Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted network connections, server-side authorisation checks and database-level access rules. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we do not claim your data is 100% secure — we do commit to reasonable, current practices and to acting quickly on issues.
Third-Party Services
We rely on service providers for hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, payment processing and device lookup. They process data only to provide those services.
SMS Providers
If you enable appointment reminders, the phone number and reminder content needed to send the message are passed to an SMS delivery provider. Reminders are only sent when you turn them on, and you can turn them off at any time in notification settings.
Payment Providers
Subscription payments are handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor. Full card numbers never reach TechShinobi servers; we store only a payment reference and non-sensitive details such as the last four digits and plan status.
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and local browser storage for sign-in sessions and to remember preferences such as your theme. We use limited, aggregate analytics to understand how the product is used. We do not use advertising trackers.
Data Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, personal account data is removed, and remaining records are deleted or anonymised except where we must keep them for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.
User Choices
From Settings you can update your profile, change notification and SMS preferences, export your data, change your password and delete your account.
Account Deletion
Account deletion is available in Settings and requires an explicit confirmation so business information cannot be removed by accident. Deletion is permanent.
Policy Updates
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email.
