Terms of Service

Last updated: September 7, 2026

TechShinobi is inventory management software for people who buy and sell electronics. These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. We have kept the language plain on purpose.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TechShinobi, you agree to these terms. If you are using TechShinobi for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that business. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your login details private, for everything done through your account, and for the accuracy of the information you enter. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

3. Permitted Use

You may use TechShinobi to record inventory, track purchases and sales, produce invoices and receipts, manage contacts and appointments, and review your own business performance.

4. Prohibited Use

TechShinobi is an inventory management platform. It must not be used for illegal activity, fraudulent transactions, handling stolen property, or attempting unauthorised access to devices, carrier systems or other people's accounts. You must not attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or resell the service, and you must not upload malicious code.

You are responsible for making sure the information you enter — including device identifiers such as IMEI numbers and any client details — is accurate and lawfully obtained.

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. Prices shown at checkout apply to your subscription. Taxes may be added where required. Payment failures may result in limited access until the balance is settled.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the billing area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then. Unless required by law, past payments are not refunded.

7. User-Submitted Data

You keep ownership of the data you enter. You grant us permission to store and process it for the purpose of running the service for you. You can export your data or request deletion from your account settings.

8. Inventory Data

Profit figures, valuations and appraisal estimates are calculations based on the numbers you enter and on general market references. They are informational and are not a guarantee of resale value.

9. Client Information

If you store buyer or seller details, you are responsible for having the right to collect them and for handling them in line with the laws that apply to your business.

10. Third-Party Services

TechShinobi relies on third parties for hosting, database services, payment processing, email delivery and device lookup services. Their availability and terms may affect parts of the service.

11. SMS Notifications

Appointment reminder messages are only sent when you switch them on in notification settings. You may turn them off at any time. Reminder messages and marketing messages are treated separately; entering a phone number does not opt you into marketing. Message and data rates may apply.

12. Service Availability

We work to keep TechShinobi available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upgrades and third-party outages can cause downtime.

13. Account Suspension

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, that are used unlawfully, or that put the platform or other users at risk. Where reasonable we will contact you first.

14. Intellectual Property

The TechShinobi name, logo, software and design belong to TechShinobi. Your subscription gives you the right to use the service, not ownership of it. Your own business data and your uploaded business logo remain yours.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TechShinobi is provided “as is” and we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, or indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

16. Changes to the Service

We continue to develop TechShinobi, so features may be added, changed or removed. We aim to avoid changes that materially reduce the value of a paid plan during its billing period.

17. Changes to the Terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
